The Cutting Edge of Entertainment
What do you get when you cross a bunch of thrill-seeking actor-combatants with medieval mayhem, magnificent mounts, and a touch of magic? The Seattle Knights, the Northwest’s premier sword-fighting and jousting show, is a theatrical troupe specializing in Medieval Fantasy, wielding real weapons and armor to perform choreographed, medieval-style combat. Knights in shining armor battle rogues, ruffians, and one another, and fair maidens sometimes take up the sword against all of them. Equestrian war games test the speed, courage, and horsemanship of our mounted Knights. And if the outcome of a contest is in doubt—the Jousters are there to settle the score! Cheer on your favorite Knight as the excitement builds! And the fun doesn’t stop there; after the show, the Knights join the Rhodes River Ranch guests for a spontaneous meet-and-greet. Ever wanted to know more about your favorite Knight, weapons, armor, or horse? Just ask – each Knight is more than happy to share his or her enthusiasm and answer your questions. Or come meet the horses up close and personal. For more information, feel free to explore the Seattle Knights webpage at: http://www.seattleknights.com, or call 206-334-2246
About Doug Williams: My music career started in high school when I won the local AFC talent contest singing and playing guitar. From there I became the lead singer and guitar player for various rock bands, touring locally as well as throughout the state. Later while operating my own recording studio, I wrote & performed a comedy song titled “Couch Potatoes of America”, which played on many radio stations across the US. The “Couch Potatoes of America” music video also aired on various TV & cable stations and had an appearance on VH1. As a producer I have produced several “Best of The Northwest” artists, and have co-written & performed songs which have been aired on local radio stations. I was also formerly the music director at Foothills Church in Monroe, WA. My past experience also includes voice-over & radio jingle work for various clients locally & nationally.

Jesse Taylor is a true American original. An authentic rodeo cowboy, Jesse’s passion for singing and songwriting has taken him to dive bars and honky tonks throughout much of the West.
His poetic lyrics and haunting melodies capture the flavor of rodeo life with a soulful authenticity. His songs speak powerfully of the American West, of its timeless values and virtues. And of a free and independent spirit that yearns for the freedom of the open road.
Jesse was born and raised in Arlington, Washington. With his Mom named after a Johnny Cash song and his Dad a team roper and songwriter, Jesse grew up with rodeo — and music — in his blood. He began roping at age 3, was given his first guitar at age 4 and rode his first bull at 14. He began writing songs at 16 and two years later went on the road in his pick-up truck with his dog, Sandy. At 22, Jesse recorded his first album, One Chance to Win, in his Mom’s kitchen. It contains ten of his original songs.
Jesse spent the past 2 years working on the Hawaiian island of Lana’i. During the day, he’d lead trail rides for resort guests and tend the horses. At night, he’d entertain guests with his singing at the Four Seasons Lodge at Ko’ele. He counts Chris LeDoux, George Strait, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Frank Sinatra and Jimi Hendrix among his music influences.
Last fall, Jesse recorded his first studio album, Out Here in the Country, at Blackbird Studio in Nashville. It was released on March 26, 2013. Jesse is now back on the road sharing his music. Through hard work and lean living, Jesse Taylor is living his dream.
The Murder Mystery Company (the experts in mystery entertainment) and The Restaurant at Rhodes River Ranch always have a “killer time” hosting this feisty evening.
The moment you walk in the door you will be wrapped up in a thrilling whodunit experience, mingling with crazy characters and shady suspects in an evening of mystery, intrigue, and murder. As you enjoy a delicious three-course meal, the plot will unfold and someone will drop dead (in a comedic way, of course). As the night continues you will need to interrogate the suspects, gather the clues, and work with your team to crack the case before the killer gets away! We offer a different theme for each show, become a repeat offender, and enjoy a murder mystery dinner show like nothing you’ve ever experienced before!
Currently, The Restaurant at Rhodes River Ranch does not have any Murder Mysteries schedule for 2018. If you are in a group that is interested in attending one of these events, please call us and we will see about getting a date scheduled! We need to have a group of at least 30-40 people.
